Conger`s Jewellers - Ottawa Jewellery store

In 1981, David Conger established Conger's Gemmological Services to provide jewellery appraisals in the privacy and security of customer's homes. With a small amount of advertising the service was a hit! Never before was there a jewellery appraisal service like this in Ottawa. The small newspaper ads attracted the interest of many individuals and store owners in Ottawa because gemologists were scarce in those days. Before long, David Conger was providing appraisal services for more than 30 fine jewellers in Ottawa, as well as many trust companies and Revenue Canada.

In 1992, he opened his own jewellery store along with his father Gerry. The two Congers focused on providing personalized customer service.  For 18 years the jewellery store has been located on the second floor of the Hampton Park Plaza at the corner of Carling and Kirkwood Avenues, at the Queensway.
