Hello Everyone,
Today I sat down to create our first store newsletter. Keeping you aware of store events and news in the jewellery industry is the purpose of these letters, but I know this may not interest everyone. If you do not wish to receive future mailings, simply unsubscribe and your name will be removed from our recipient list.
Our Anniversary Sale - This Week!
We are having an open house this week - November 12, 13, and 14 to celebrate our store anniversary. This is a happy occasion as we are celebrating 18 years at Hampton Park Plaza and 28 years in business. Time flies!
Everything in the store will be 25% off and some items will be reduced even further. Our Wittnauer watches will be marked down to cost. Wittnauer is a fine brand and Swiss made, but we have decided to reduce our watch brands and carry more jewellery items next year.
Come and see our new Murano glass pendants and earrings. They have been a big hit all year. The glass is infused with gold and silver leaf and the colours are spectacular. We encourage you to come down and take a look as they are quite affordable and very attractive.
Bring a friend and say hello. Refreshments will be served. For your convenience, we will be open later Friday night (until 8PM).
Here are seven "values" we offer to our customers that are not found on the Internet or at a wholesale club.
- Experience counts: Our knowledge of gemstones and the jewellery business enable us to examine each piece of jewellery to make sure it is of the highest possible quality within a certain price range. That means a livelier-looking, longer-lasting piece of jewellery for our customer's money.
- No worries: We have years of experience in buying and selling jewellery, so our customers can rest assured that everything we sell is tastefully designed and well made.
- Save time: With parking nearby, our customers won't have to walk through a huge warehouse to get to the jewellery department. If you live in Ottawa you will save time, money and gas.
- Buy local: Conger's Jewellers is locally owned and operated. For customers, that means their dollars stay within the community, supporting schools, roads and other merchants. There isn't a huge, out-of-town buying office or foreign company taking a portion of each sale.
- Safe, convenient and comfortable: Instead of standing on a cement floor with no sales help in sight, Conger's Jewellers provides a warm, safe and inviting environment in which to shop, plus a knowledgeable staff to help with every aspect of our customer's purchase, repair and appraisal.
- Jewellery and watch repair: We won't sell our customer a watch and then send them down the street to get the bracelet adjusted to their wrist. We adjust the bracelet right here and at no additional charge. The best watch and jewellery repair people are on our staff.
- Longevity: Conger's has been in business for 28 years and, these days, that means a lot. We have weathered difficult economic times and will be around for customers tomorrow.
