From the moment I entered Conger’s and met Valerie and Dave, I knew I had come to the right place. As I sat down to chat with Valerie, I laid out five different rings before her, explaining that I wanted them all incorporated into one new, fabulous ring. I was just about to turn 50 so I needed my new ring to symbolize this significant milestone of my life. From my initial meeting with Valerie, I knew she was gifted to capture the design I was looking for. It is one thing to design from a picture or an image, but Valerie had nothing to go on other than what she gleaned from our interview. About two weeks later, when Valerie showed me her renderings, it took me about three seconds to recognize the ring I was looking for. The next step of trying on the wax model which held the most glorious new stones was exciting to say the least. But the breathtaking experience of opening my ring box, on my 50th birthday, and seeing this most heavenly and exquisite work of art beaming back at me, will always be impossible to capture by mere words. Since then, I have literally had strangers stop me, point at my ring, hold their hands to their mouths with wonder and declare that my ring is the most beautiful they have ever seen! Sometimes I’m not sure what remains more exquisite for me, my new ring, or the experience I had of witnessing Valerie and Dave work with such giftedness. One year later, my ring still leaves me speechless.

Dave and Val were great. I had some old jewellery of my moms that I didn't know what to do with it. Dave did the appraisal of the jewellery. Val created sketches of rings after I explained what I was looking for. I now have the most beautiful ring interlocking oval tear drops one gold the other white gold inset with my moms diamonds on a nice thick white gold band. I will always remember my mom as I wear it everyday. Dave provided a full appraisal for my insurance company. This was about a year ago. I truly appreciated their help and would go back in a heart beat.

Valerie made our experience in designing my engagement ring very enjoyable! Armed with only some pictures of inspiration, we worked out a design truly unique and perfect for me to wear (especially since I don't wear any sort of jewelery). Finding an engagement ring is hard. What it means and symbolizes to the parties involved means everything in the world. Dave was able to put us at ease and design the perfect ring for us with nothing more than an image printed from the internet and our memory of a ring tried on overseas. From our first meeting to the wax model to the finished product Dave made the process amazingly simple and easy. Dave took a challenging concept, and made it reality. I have an opal ring that belonged to my grandmother, and unfortunately one of the opals cracked, and needed to be replaced. I brought it to Congers, and they were able to find a match extremely quickly, and return the ring to me. The ring is absolutely perfect, and I cannot even tell which opal it was that was replaced, which is incredible given how diverse opals can be, as well as the size of the opals on this particular ring. I am so grateful to be able to wear this heirloom again, and seeing it repaired nearly brought me to tears. Thank you so much!

I had the pleasure of receiving an engagement ring and wedding band from Congers! My husband was directed to Congers for not only their work but the great prices. He took in a picture of what he wanted and it was created beautifully. I also purchased my wedding band there and couldn't be happier with the set. We worked with Val throughout the process and she was always so helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend Congers to friends and family!

David was extremely thorough and meticulous while appraising my ring. I was amazed that I was able to sit and watch him while he worked. Conger's just made a custom engagement ring for my fiancee and me. I learned a lot as we went through it, so I was able to grow my expectations and refine my understanding of what I wanted. In the end, I got exactly what I wanted, and better than I could have hoped for when I started. My fiancee and I now have a unique, custom made ring we feel is amazing and very special. We recently set out to purchase a Canadian diamond. After submitting enquiries to several jewellers, it quickly became clear that Conger's pricing was by far the best. David Conger spent considerable time explaining to us the realities of the diamond markets, and the ins and out of grading and selecting a stone. In their store, we were able to view several stones and were walked through the grading process. We were able to select a stone having seen its characteristics as a professional would see them, and knowing that its grading, hence its stated value, was accurate. Congers goldsmith created a custom setting for my ring, and appraisals were provided for insurance purposes. This was a geat experience. David Conger and his staff were warm and personable, and I wouldn't hesitate to return or to recommend Conger's Jewellers to friends and family.
